E.A.D. Mechanical was contracted to remove a 50-TON Trane Intellapak Roof Top Unit (RTU) that was beyond repair. It had old electric heat that was costing too much to operate.

The old unit was removed by crane and a new curb adapter was installed on the roof where the new Trane unit was set. E.A.D. connected all ductwork serving the church offices, as well as connection of the 200 amp electrical feeder.

The new system was provided with modulating gas heat and demand ventilation to save the customer money on their energy use. E.A.D. also installed a stand-alone DDC system to operate the new RTU which was capable of 50% outside air controlled by a new CO sensor.

The whole project was completed in 2 days.
